Are your kids ready to go STEAM ahead this Fall? With the brilliant extracurricular program at Steamoji Vaughan Maple, kids aged 5-14 can master future-facing skills! By gaining the essential expertise needed for the careers of tomorrow, Steamoji apprentices get ahead of the curve as they learn how to tackle their generation’s many challenges.
At Steamoji Vaughan Maple, children can learn new technology skills this Fall to gain confidence and tackle new challenges! This is an ongoing STEM maker academy, offering a structured program for school-aged children to train them to become future builders, makers, inventors and entrepreneurs. As they develop advanced skills in coding, robotics and entrepreneurship, participants also excel in their future academic and professional endeavours.
As a STEM Maker Academy, Steamoji Vaughan Maple, is a place where students benefit from their 400-hour “Build to Solve™” curriculum. This program helps kids and teens develop skill pathways to fill the learning gap through structure and reinforcement. Meanwhile, apprentices learn five subjects, including fabrication, physical computing, engineering, digital arts and applied design. As they master these important transferable skills, these Steamoji skills last a lifetime!
The Steamoji Vaughan Maple Core Fall Program Gives Kids a Confident, Can-Do Mindset!
Technological change has been accelerating rapidly in recent years, so parents are aware that STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) have become vitally important to their children’s education. Indeed, this type of specialized education can prepare kids for the future, rather than merely focusing on traditional studies.
Instead, at Steamoji Vaughan Maple, kids get the chance to explore and create in fun-filled, hands-on lessons designed to train the next generation of geniuses!
OJI Junior (Ages 5-6)
For Junior Apprentices, Oji Junior is a purpose-built STEM program that starts learners on their STEM journey. Tailored for small hands and big imaginations, this curriculum helps students learn skills to prepare them to transition into the Build to Solve® curriculum. In addition, the Oji Junior program introduces kids to computing, art and building.
Build to Solve® (Ages 6-14)
Next, Steamoji’s after-school STEM program helps Apprentices advance through the 400-hour Build to Solve® curriculum. Here, they learn skills in coding, robotics, 3D printing, digital art and 3D design. They also discover further innovative technical skills, completing missions in four subject pathways, including Fabrication, Physical Computing, Engineering and Digital Arts.
