Summer is made for cherished moments, like the camaraderie of new friends, the beauty of nature, and discovering new skills and creative interests. This summer at Ryde Lake Camp, girls aged 9-16 are invited to create life-long camping memories in a picturesque Muskoka setting. Since 1952, this camp has strived to promote the personal growth of its campers, in mind, body, and spirit.
Set within a caring community, the programs at Ryde Lake Camp ensure campers respect both themselves and fellow participants. This also includes appreciating the natural world surrounding them. Without the distractions of technology, the girls can truly be themselves in this nurturing and screen-free environment. Meanwhile, they have time to connect with nature, while developing their independence and self-confidence.
This exceptional camp program offers both indoor and outdoor activities, delivering a classic camp experience. Instead of just staring at a screen all summer, days are spent making new friends, exploring nature, learning new skills, singing and laughing, and watching spectacular sunsets turn into a brilliant night sky full of stars. Isn’t that exactly what summer is all about?
So, allow your daughters to create memorable summer camping experiences in the beautiful Muskoka region at Ryde Lake Camp! Their one and two-week sessions have an enduring impact on campers, including ongoing personal development and learning opportunities. With excellent supervision due to the low staff-to-camper ratio of 1:4, this camp feels like a real community, with many campers returning year after year. Furthermore, as an accredited member of the Ontario Camps Association, Ryde Lake Camp consistently upholds the highest standard in safety and quality programming.

Every Girl Needs a Ryde Lake Experience!
Ryde Lake Camp is a special place where friendships blossom, so give your girls the special opportunity to get away this summer so they can enjoy great food, awesome sunsets, and lots of laughter! To preserve the wonder and attention of the moment, Ryde Lake Camp has a “no electronics and no screens” policy. Instead, the time spent at camp helps kids increase their self-esteem and pursue new passions and personal skills to last a lifetime.
Summer camp is one of those special experiences in a young person’s life. It provides them with opportunities for personal growth, simply by being present in the moment.
