If your child or teen is ready to move beyond the sidewalk, bike and skateboard parks offer a unique challenge! The GTA has lots of great options, both indoor and outdoor. There is something for all ages and abilities! So pack up your bike and skateboard and go enjoy some adventure, activity and fun at one of these parks in GTA.


East York

East York Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.
Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre – Indoor, beginner to intermediate. **currently closed due to COVID-19**
West Lodge Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.

Etobicoke

Eighth Street Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.
Smithfield Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.
Sunnyside Bike Park – Outdoor, all skill levels.
Weston Lions Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.

North York

Bayview Arena Bike Park – Outdoor, all skill levels. ** undergoing repairs as of June 2020**
Cummer Skatepark
– Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.
Lawrence Heights Skatepark
– Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.
Vanderhoof Skatepark
– Outdoor, all skill levels.

Scarborough

Ellesmere Skatepark – Outdoor, all skill levels.
Fundy Bay Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.
Malvern Recreation Centre Skatepark – Indoor, beginner to intermediate.
Neilson Skatepark – Outdoor, all skill levels.
Port Union Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.

Waterfront

Beach Skatepark – Outdoor, all skill levels. Bike trail as well.
Crothers Woods Trails – 9 km of natural biking trails, intermediate.
Underpass Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.

West York

Dufferin Grove Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.
Dunbat Skatepark – Outdoor, beginner to intermediate.
Phil White Arena – Indoor, beginner to intermediate.
Wallace Emerson BMX Park – Outdoor, all skill levels.


Some of these parks have other amenities like playgrounds, sport courts and bathrooms. Before planning your visit, check the the hours of operation and rules for participating. If you’re going with young kids, it’s best to go early in the morning before the more advanced skaters arrive.
