Casa Loma: Legends of Horror
Date: October 4 —November 1, 2025; Family Hours: October 4-5, 11-12, 17-31 & November 1, 2025
Spooks and surprises await as Casa Loma presents its annual Halloween installation, Legends of Horror, a self-guided tour of the historic building. Families can spend the early hours with younger children at Family Hours, which are less scary and without live actors.
City of Toronto History Museums: Halloween Events

City of Toronto’s History Museums are hosting family-friendly Halloween events again this year, including crafts, musical performances, historical tours and ghost stories!
Fort York After Dark: Lantern Tour
Date: October 16-25, 2025
Go back in time this Halloween at Fort York National Historic Site for their After Dark lantern tour, with this year’s theme of Lurking in the Shadows, to hear chilling and eerie tales of the historic buildings and surrounding grounds.
Village at Black Creek: Halloween at the Village
Date: October 18-19, 25-26, 2025, Saturday-Sunday 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
For a classic take on Halloween festivities, Village at Black Creek hosts some hair-raising happenings at their Halloween at the Village event, including trick-or-treating among the village’s beautiful heritage buildings.
Toronto Zoo Halloween: Boo at the Zoo
Date: October 18-19 & 25-26, 2025, Saturday-Sunday 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Go wild at the Toronto Zoo for Halloween with “Boo at the Zoo”, featuring half-off admission for kids 12 & under that are in costume and accompanied by an adult paying regular admission. Explore the Discovery Zone and collect goodies, meet some new wild friends with the special animal encounters, boogie down at the Monster Mash, and more!
Ontario Science Centre: Kids’ Night Out – “Spooky Science: Genes, Guts, and Goo”

Kids can have an evening of Halloween fun without grown-ups! Kids aged 5-12 can play, experiment and learn with other kids in their age group, and enjoy a grilled cheese sandwiches with French fries for dinner.
Riverdale Farm: Boo at the Barn
Date: October 25-26, 2025
Riverdale Farm offers a free weekend of fun with pumpkin carving, crafts, face painting and exploring the spooky “Boo Barn”.
Trick or Treat at the Bata Shoe Museum
Date: October 26, 2025, Sunday 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Runway Shows 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM
Creep over to the Bata Shoe Museum this Halloween to celebrate with free admission and a trick-or-treating scavenger hunt throughout the museum, as well as hands-on crafts, iSpy game cards, try-on station and costume runway shows.
