Casa Loma presents its annual Halloween installation, Legends of Horror, now in its sixth year. It’s a self-guided tour of the historic building and property known as “promenade theatre”. Each location introduces ghostly new characters and creepy environmental theatrical presentations. Spooks and surprises await!
Start your experience on the two-kilometre trail in the lower gardens of Casa Loma, wind your way through dimly lit tunnels and into the bowels of the castle, to some of the darkest spaces never before open to the public. Lastly, as a dramatic finish, a 3D exterior projection brings the story to life on the walls of the castle.
Plus, Casa Loma’s gorgeous Glass Pavilion serves as a lounge area for the first time this year to offer views of the castle projections and also to allow more capacity while ensuring physical distancing.
Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item as a donation to the Daily Bread Food Bank to add some goodwill to the scares.
Note: Though there are Family Hours in the early evening, parental discretion is advised for this event.
