Kids Learn Through Fun at Jardin Infantil Academy Summer Camps!

Jardin Infantil Academy Summer Camps are hands-on childhood education programs that focus on enriching kids’ lives through outdoor learning. With a thoughtful approach to education in a natural setting, these day camps foster a lifelong love for the environment. Daily activities include tie-dyeing T-shirts, writing and performing skits, going on archeological adventures and treasure hunts, making and enjoying Mexican quesadillas, singing and dancing, and so much more!

Refreshingly, at this camp, the children spend so much time outside in the summer months that families drop off and pick up the campers directly inside High Park! However, in inclement weather, Jardin Infantil Academy also has a nearby indoor space on Bloor Street West. In this case, the campers enjoy fun indoor activities or go on field trips to an indoor destination. What’s more, the camp groups go on urban voyages each week to see natural and educational destinations around Toronto, including Little Canada, SkyZone, Centre Island, the ROM, Illuminarium, CN Tower, Toronto Illusion Museum, and Bluffer’s Park Beach.

Nature Camp

Being in nature has numerous benefits for everyone, but especially kids! Each week in the summer, this small-group Nature Camp program lets children discover nature in a friendly and non-competitive environment. Campers immerse themselves in nature throughout Toronto’s spectacular High Park and explore its many parklands, marshes, creeks, forests and gardens.

Cooking Camp

Welcome, aspiring chefs and little foodies! This cooking camp is ideal for kids who love to cook and eat, working hard in a real kitchen. The budding chefs explore the world through multicultural cuisines, such as Latin, Italian, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Thai, Eastern European, African and BBQ! Not only that, but they supply the chefs-in-training with aprons, chef hats and disposable gloves. Plus, vegan and vegetarian options are available for all meals!

Art Camp

Jardin Infantil Academy’s summer art camp provides an atmosphere that nourishes the kids’ creative and emotional expression. This art camp gives campers the freedom to nurture their creative passions in an imaginative environment. Each week explores a different theme each week, including Dyeing & Science, 3D Art, Clay Creations, Magnetic Art, Earth-Friendly Art, Jewelry Making, Brain-Tickling Origami, and a Piñata Party!

Drama Camp

Are your artistic children looking for a positive theatrical experience in a fun and inclusive atmosphere? The Jardin Infantil Academy Drama Camp includes activities that encourage the young artists to express themselves emotionally through characters, music and dance. This dynamic curriculum includes theatre games, dance and singing, role-playing, storytelling, comedy, improvisation, stagecraft, scriptwriting and even weekly performances!

Multi-Sports Camp

At Jardin Infantil Academy, kids can get their game on! This multi-sport camp encourages kids to stay active in a stress-free and non-competitive setting. Morning activities include soccer, basketball, tag, dodgeball and tug-of-war. Then, to beat the heat and have fun, the campers cool off in the afternoons with water play!

Go With the Flow Camp

Nature has a positive effect on all children, so for campers who prefer a more relaxed, the Go With the Flow Camp spends lots of fun time outdoors! Here, campers read and sing songs, join art therapy lessons, perform drama skits and explore the nature of High Park. All the while, Jardin Infantil Academy’s highly trained staff discretely guide each child through the daily program while embracing each child’s uniqueness.
