Keep Calm, The Canadian Tulip Festival is Still On!

We could all use something to celebrate, right? The Canadian Tulip Festival isn’t letting the pandemic dampen their spirits – they plan to keep calm and tulip on! All performances, programming and public participation has moved online for 2020. This is an annual celebration in Ottawa that marks the pivotal moment of Liberation in the Netherlands more than 75 years ago. It was brave soldiers from The Canadian Forces that helped to lead the way. So every year, The Canadian Tulip Festival exists to honour their sacrifice as well as the friendship established between the two countries.
