There’s something timeless about the tradition of writing a letter to Santa. For families everywhere, it’s a fun and meaningful activity that encourages creativity and helps children share their holiday wishes—while giving “Santa” some helpful inspiration for the season.

The arrival of toy catalogues each year signals that the holidays are just around the corner. Kids love checking out the latest toys and circling their favourites, and many parents feel a wave of nostalgia from their own childhood days spent paging through catalogues like the Sears Wishbook.

To make the process simple and enjoyable, families can download a free printable Letter to Santa. The design is inspired by doodle journals and leaves plenty of room for children to express their wishes in their own way—through colouring, drawing, writing, or pasting pictures from catalogues. The most important step is adding a name so Santa knows exactly who the letter is from.
