The National Ballet of Canada presents “Romeo and Juliet”, a visually striking revival of renowned choreographer Alexei Ratmansky’s stunning adaptation of William Shakespeare’s tragedy. With a score by Sergei Prokofiev and staying true to the colour and character of 16th century Verona, the ballet includes swordplay, fast footwork and inspired ensemble work.
