Every year at the end of the outdoor pool season, the City of Toronto invites resident dogs (escorted by their human families) to have a pool party! Check out where Outdoor Pool Dog Swim Events in Toronto are being held…

There are, of course, some rules: for everyone’s health and safety, only dogs can swim in the pool. An adult must accompany the dog, show proof of rabies vaccination, and then watch from the side (those aged 12 or older are welcome to watch inside; younger children must remain outside the pool deck). One adult can bring only a maximum of two dogs, any dog displaying aggressive behaviour must leave the pool area, and dog must be removed from the pool immediately by the owner if they need assistance.
