Outward Bound Canada offers a variety of programs, ranging from day programs in Toronto to overnight camping trips in Haliburton, Algonquin Provincial Park, and Northern Ontario. For an experience they will never forget, teens can even head to the Rocky Mountains or British Columbia’s Pacific coast for an epic summer of adventure! These outdoor education programs reach even further than just teaching technical skills like canoeing or backpacking. Instead, they are screen-free adventures designed for lasting personal impact, as well as prioritizing accessibility and supporting participation for Indigenous, 2SLGBTQIA+, and BIPOC youth, newcomers to Canada, and those facing socio-economic barriers.

At Outward Bound Canada, youth become empowered to charge of their lives, build resilience and discover their strengths. In their outdoor education programs, campers learn the technical skills of kayaking, canoeing, and backpacking. Meanwhile, they get off their screens and into the real world! Even more importantly than spending time outside, these experiences help kids become capable young people, realizing their potential in real time.

Outward Bound Canada Summer Programs Immerse Kids in Nature!

Youth aged 7-18 years, get ready for a summer full of exciting adventures! Outward Bound Canada offers outdoor summer journeys throughout the country, from here in our backyard of Toronto, all the way to the Rockies and the Pacific Coast of British Columbia. Led by highly-trained instructors, all programs focus on building confidence, developing social-emotional skills, and fostering a love for nature and the environment. Programs vary by age, location, and duration, and high school students can also earn school credits for courses longer than 15 days. Additionally, Outward Bound Canada offers financial aid to help more families take part in these important experiences.
