Canada’s leading soccer school for kids aged 4-15, Power Soccer School of Excellence hosts their Back to School and Fall Soccer School Programs again this year, running between September and December every week at four indoor/outdoor locations in Toronto. In groups based on age and ability level, players participate in training sessions focussing on particular skills, including conditioned tactical games and match play.

These lessons help kids sharpen their soccer skills and provide specific coaching to develop the players’ skills through games and skill-building activities. Plus, the Power Soccer School of Excellence Fall programs can act as a player evaluation process for their Academy Program. As always, safety is the top priority where Power Soccer maintains a low player-to-coach ratio, ensuring their licensed and enthusiastic coaches instruct a fun and dynamic program.

Power Soccer 5Power Soccer’s Back to School and Fall Soccer School Programs

Power Soccer’s methods develop confident players with a positive attitude! As such, this Fall program lets young soccer players burn some energy, have fun and make new friends in a positive and challenging soccer environment. These insightful and enjoyable training programs focus on player development, soccer skill activities, tactics and plenty of gameplay.

FUNdamentals (Ages 4-5)
This course combines skill learning and games, with lots of ball contact for each player through ball movement practice, dodge games and fun ball manoeuvring exercises. Introduce your kids to soccer in a fun and rewarding manner, providing positive reinforcement for the young player! In addition, soccer skills training also teaches technical ability, agility and balance.

Soccer Essentials (Ages 6-7)
Older kids begin to compete in a fun way to achieve success through skill training as well as gameplay. They also grasp core soccer skills and good soccer habits through age-appropriate skill exercises and games. This program emphasizes coordination and movement in soccer, with skill exercises and small-sided soccer games, making a positive impact on the development of these young players.

Skill Development Program (Ages 8-15)
This program maximizes the individual’s soccer potential while recognizing that the players come from different soccer backgrounds and vary in technique and ability. Skills include ball control, passing for possession, support play, positional sense, dribbling and shooting skills. Furthermore, it’s designed for players to develop and refine their skills and receive specific coaching.

16+ Adult Clinic (Ages 16+)
For older teens, this advanced clinic works on concepts of space, support and movement off the ball. The Power Soccer program again uses creative and challenging games that improve ball control, passing, dribbling, defending and shooting. Moreover, players in this program receive advanced tactical training, including positional play, support, movement off the ball and transition play.
