Returning as an outdoor walk-through event this year at Milton’s Country Heritage Park, Pumpkins After Dark is a family-friendly Halloween experience to surprise and delight visitors both young and old. You’ll be amazed by the magical pathway of lit pumpkin sculptures and displays. Each installation comes to life thanks to incorporated music, sounds and special effects.

While pumpkin carving is a regular activity during Halloween, Pumpkins After Dark takes this craft to the extreme! This award-winning outdoor event features over 6,000+ hand-carved pumpkins arranged in stunning sculptural displays throughout the park, all proudly carved by local artists. Plus, there will be live carving demonstrations with master pumpkin carvers and live performers. This one-of-a-kind walk-through experience is the must-see event of the Fall season, providing plenty of Halloween fun for ghosts and ghouls of all ages.

A Family-Friendly Halloween Experience

With over 80% new content, this ultimate display of pumpkin carving wows visitors with classic Halloween characters, dragons, dinosaurs, movie and pop culture icons and more. Most of the sculptures are child-friendly, such as animals, superheroes and Disney characters. For the adults, there are even famous artworks like the Mona Lisa.

There’s no need to worry about your little ones at Pumpkins After Dark, as there are only a few displays of classic horror monsters and zombies with no blood or gore involved. However, be aware that there are some flashing lights, loud sounds and special effects used, including fog machines and black lights.

As you marvel at the pumpkin sculptures, you can also snack on fall treats and sweets, find interactive Halloween characters, take family photos at photo op settings, and purchase delicious goodies from on-site food trucks. Finally, be sure to take home fun seasonal merchandise, like your own pumpkin. Let these carving experts at Pumpkins After Dark inspire you and practise creating your own masterpiece!
