Toronto Caribbean Carnival (formerly known as Caribana) returns for the first time since 2019 with a month’s worth of events. Celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Grande Parade which was first gifted to Canada by the Caribbean community during our centennial celebrations, the Carnival is a spectacular display of costumes, music, and culture.
The official kick-off is on July 7 at Nathan Phillips Square, with special guests and live entertainment. Families celebrate over two weekends with the crowning of the Junior King & Queen and the Kiddies For Mas parade in Scarborough. Then finally, the Grand Parade takes over Exhibition Place on the last weekend of July.
