The Winter Stations Design Competition displays temporary public art installations from Canadian and international winners, celebrating Toronto’s winter waterfront landscape with this year’s theme: “Mirage”. Starting on Family Day and finishing up at the end of March, the interactive pieces incorporate the existing lifeguard towers in the east-end Beach neighbourhood along Kew and Woodbine beaches, which act as visual anchor points.
