Young Peoples Theatre (YPT) presents the world premiere of “Truth”, adapted from Caroline Pignat’s Governor General’s Award-winning novel, “The Gospel Truth”. This play, set on a Virginian tobacco plantation in 1858, tells the story of a courageous young Black girl named Phoebe, who deals with a harrowing choice upon the arrival of a stranger from the north, including a trail of secrets that could change everything.
