Experience the remarkable Niagara Parks Power Station in a whole new way with Currents: Niagara’s Power Transformed. It’s an epic sight and sound night show that opens its doors to the public on September 3.
Constructed in 1905, the Niagara Parks Power Station structure is considered to be the only fully intact, decommissioned hydroelectric power plant of its era. The daytime guest experience features exhibits and interpretative installations that explore the history and science behind the station.
In the evenings, Currents turns the space into a one-of-a-kind event featuring interactive storytelling. Flow through this historic space and explore the incredible transformation of water to power.
Created by Montreal design firm Thinkwell Group, the show features 3D projections and a breathtaking musical score that makes the power station accessible to all audiences.
