Ontario Place returns with another exciting season of free programming with the SummerSeries in beautiful Trillium Park on Toronto’s waterfront, which offers the perfect setting to enjoy music, arts, wellness, and nature. Support local and international artists for a variety of free arts and culture events, including live musical performances and outdoor yoga classes.

Open Canvas Music and Arts Festival
Date: July 5-6, 2025
Open Canvas Music and Arts Festival is a free, not-for-profit music and arts festival with performances by local and internationally acclaimed artists, food from some of the city’s best restaurants, all with a view of Toronto’s skyline.

Mixto Festival
Date: July 12-13, 2025
Now in its seventh year, Mixto Festival is a free music festival and an intergenerational party that brings together communities, cultures, and experiences. Produced and curated by Uma Nota Culture, see live music and DJs from around the world alongside children’s programming, food and craft vendors, licensed bar and art installations.

Summer Live Music Festival

Take in some free outdoor concerts while enjoying the lakeside breeze at Ontario Place’s Summer Live Music Festival, featuring a diverse and compelling program, including Live Jazz and World Music as well as contemporary a cappella groups.

Indigenous Sounds Now
Date: July 27, 2025
The power of Indigenous Sounds Now resonates throughout Trillium Park for two free, all-ages concerts where you can listen to music and dance on Mother Earth. In fact, Indigenous musicians are creating a musical mosaic like never before, now crossing over many genres, including country, blues, DJ’s, hip hop, rock, folk, and alternative music.

Wavelength Summer Thing
Date: August 9-10, 2025
Wavelength Summer Thing is a celebration of independent music, arts and community with a diverse and uplifting line-up of musical artists from indie, hip-hop and electronic to folk and global music. There’s also interactive art installations, games, food and beverage, and fire pit hangs, free and open to all ages.

It’s OK* World
Date: August 16-17, 2025
Join It’s Ok* World for their second annual outdoor free festival that showcases talent from Toronto’s vibrant and diverse Black arts community. This two-day festival celebrates art, culture, and community, set against the backdrop of a warm summer.

The Academy Presents
Date: August 23, 2025
The Academy presents its marquee concert series, The Hustle, spotlighting new and emerging artists in one of the longest-running showcases of hip hop and R&B in Canada. Having played a key role in introducing audiences to now-globally recognized talent, a roster of alumni will perform in a day-long celebration to mark this milestone.

City Hall Live
Date: August 24, 2025
The City of Toronto’s City Hall Live returns this year as a free, family-friendly event with a full music festival at Ontario Place’s Trillium Park, including a DJ, and live samba, reggae and salsa. This fun-filled day and evening features live music, dance lessons, and entertainment, plus an onsite bar, food vendors, and artisan market.
