Even though summer is wrapping up, that doesn’t mean kids have to stop having fun and being active! With Toronto Circus Centre (TCC) Fall lessons, aspiring acrobats can run away with the circus in performance classes that help them keep busy and be creative, all while being encouraged to discover new talents in a non-competitive setting. In addition, the participants in these classes develop confidence, build character, learn cooperation and leadership, and expand their performance skills.
There’s no need for kids to feel nervous about participating in TCC’s circus lessons because previous circus experience is not required and everyone is welcome. Their expert coaches promote a reassuring and positive environment where new students learn the basics while the experienced junior acrobats can build upon their circus skills. Plus, they can adjust the lessons to suit each child’s talents and individual skill levels. Unlike many sports and physical activities, circus training has plenty of variety, which means that there is something for every junior circus star in training. Therefore, every child can find something they are good at and can focus on, including aerial trapeze, hoop, rope and silks, juggling, floor and partner acrobatics, and clowning.

Step right up with Toronto Circus Centre’s Fall lessons at their well-equipped gym in Leaside. The participants have a great time with new friends as they tumble, swing, climb, juggle and clown around! Their experienced coaches make sure all the kids try every type of activity and apparatus to find their special talent. Plus, TCC has a level for every age and ability, including one for the whole family to experience together.
Family Circus (All Ages)
Date: September 6 – December 20, 2024 (No class on October 18)
Time: Friday 7:00-8:00pm
Fee: $375 +HST

Come one, come all to the Family Circus class! Here, parents and kids of all ages learn and play together to feel the joy of the circus. This class is a fun way for the whole family to get silly, tumble and clown around, promising plenty of laughter for everyone involved.
Circus Tots (Ages 2-3)
Date: September 7 – December 21, 2024 (No class on October 19)
Time: Saturday 9:00-9:50am
Fee: $375 +HST

Your little ones can jump, swing, twirl and tumble in this parent/guardian and tot program. TCC helps the tiniest troupe members explore the various aerial and ground circus acrobatic elements to help them discover fundamental movement skills through play.
Kinder Cirque (Ages 4-5)
Date: September 4 – December 18, 2024 (No class on October 16)
Time: Wednesday & Saturday 4:00-5:20pm
Fee: $450 +HST

Kindergarten-aged kids develop their creativity, confidence and coordination at TCC’s Kinder Cirque classes, both on the ground and in the air! Also, the growing performers tackle more acrobatic feats.
Circus Club (Ages 6-11)
Date: September 4 – December 18, 2024 (No class on October 16)
Time: Wednesday & Saturday 4:00-5:20pm

In this program for older kids, every junior circus star in training can have fun under the big top! The lessons help students increase their strength, flexibility, coordination, confidence and creativity, while also enhancing their physical performance in all sports. Additionally, participants practise the many different circus acts, such as juggling, floor and partner acrobatics, aerial trapeze, hoop, rope and silks. Then, at the end of the Fall Session, the class puts on a special circus show for their families — Parents, don’t miss it!
Teen Circus (Ages 11-17)
Date: September 4 – December 18, 2024 (No class on October 16)
Time: Wednesday & Saturday 5:30-7:00pm
Fee: $450 +HST

This class for teens is ideal for those looking to stay in shape in a fun environment, whether they are a beginner or have aspirations towards a career in the circus, and also if they are cross-training for other sports or transitioning out of competitive sports. The students can work on all the activities or focus on one or more apparatus, such as trapeze, hoop, rope and silks. As a grand finale, students invite parents to an amazing circus show at the end of the Fall Session, which an attraction not to be missed!
Youth Performance Troupe (Ages 8-17)
Date: September 6 – December 20, 2024 (No class on October 18)
Time: Friday 7:00-8:30pm

To get the weekend started right, Toronto Circus Centre hosts experienced older students with professional stage aspirations for circus fun! With this more intense circus training regimen, the performers receive personalized instruction from TCC’s expert coaches to hone their skills. Not only do they focus on their individual acts, but they all work together to create an exhilarating show.
