Program Goals

Camp Tropicana has set thoughtful program goals. It aims to:

  • Provide a supportive and safe environment for children to socialize and learn
  • Design a socially, mentally, and physically engaging agenda
  • Encourage and act as an example of positive life skills and behaviours
  • Promote self-care practices that focus on an overall healthy mind and body
  • Integrate activities that celebrate Black heritage and community
  • Bring children together to explore and participate in fun and engaging educational and recreational activities

This program has a fee of $200/week per child — $900/six-weeks per child (a $300 savings) — subsidized spots are available. Children bring their own lunches, snacks and drinks.
