Bring on the winter fun at Newmarket’s Winterfest. Enjoy winter activities both indoors and outdoors.

Bundle up for some outdoor fun including public skating (Tim Hortons Skating Feature), train rides on the Tim Hortons Express Train. If you’ve ever wanted to participate in the quintessential game of curling try your hand at Learn to Curl hosted by the York Curling Club (9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.). There will also be a slew of children’s games with the Newmarket Car Club.

If you’d prefer to stay toasty, check out the indoor vendor booths including: LEAF®, Newmarket Car Club, Inn from the Cold, St. John Ambulance – York Region Branch, Rotary Club of Newmarket, Interact Youth Group, York Region Children’s Aid Society, Central York Fire Services, York Regional Police, Forget-Me-Not Alpacas, Balloon Twisting, Face Painting, Newmarket Public Library, York Region Transit.

If you are a sports fan check out the Sports Hall featuring the Hockey Hall of Fame, YNBA, York Curling Club, York Region Lions Football, Newmarket Skating Club, Sports Hall featuring the Newmarket Hurricanes Interactive Hockey Zone.
