Winter at Ontario Place Highlights:

Winter Festival Ontario Place

A Winter Light Exhibition

A beautiful array of 12 illuminated light exhibits will be on display throughout the West Island of Ontario Place. The exhibit will be lit by fairy lights that cast a warm glow and guide visitors along a path as they explore the West Island.  Visitors to Winter Light Exhibition will experience exhibits ranging from illuminated water forms, digital winter themed imagery, structures emanating light from within, a 12-foot-tall freestanding icicle silo plus more creative exhibits.

Skating

An outdoor synthetic skating rink will be open to the public from December 8, 2017 – March 18th, 2018. The music will be family friendly and an outdoor concession stand will be serving snacks and warm beverages. Bring your own skate or rent a pair on-site. Skate sharpening will be available as well.

Movies at Cinesphere in IMAX®

The world’s first permanent IMAX® theatre has re-opened and will feature a variety of programming throughout Winter at Ontario Place. In addition to the Winter at Ontario Place programming, the iconic Cinesphere theatre is now open, showcasing year-round with regular IMAX® screenings.
