If your kids consider themselves young adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts, then a summer camp experience at Scouts Canada’s Camp Adventureland is just what they are looking for! All youth aged 6-16 can have an unforgettable time, packed with personal development and outdoor adventure, whether they spend just a week or the entire summer. At Camp Adventureland, young people love to learn, explore, meet new friends and make life-long memories at these traditional Overnight, Day Camp and Leadership-in-Training programs.
This fully-equipped summer camp offers different convenient options to fit in with families’ busy summer schedules. Campers can join the camp activities for a week of day camp fun and go home each night. Or, they can stay for a full week of adventure, staying in tents or cabins. Furthermore, the best part is that Camp Adventureland is centrally located in the Whitchurch-Stouffville area, north of the GTA and just off Highway 404. This makes it an easy drive from the Markham, Aurora and Newmarket area!
Camp Adventureland — Programs
Everyone is welcome at Camp Adventureland, no matter if your child is an experienced camper or they are simply looking for a new adventure! Of course, since it is a Scouts Canada camp, families can rest easy knowing that this camp offers an inclusive, safe, and fun experience. Here, kids and teens from all over the GTA can take a journey into the great outdoors!
Operating out of the Woodland Trails camp in Stouffville, Camp Adventureland has provided the very best summer camp experience since 1970. The senior team is made up of experienced teachers, educational assistants and social workers. In addition, the trained staff ensures a secure and healthy environment while following all safety protocols.
Throughout the summer, three separate traditional programs occur simultaneously: Day Camp, Overnight, and LIT. Featuring new fun weekly themes each week, camp counsellors and instructors lead the campers through exciting activities and adventures, with both daytime and sleep-away camp options. The kids get plenty of fresh air, make new friends, and have a blast!
