Lynn-Rose School Summer Camps Embrace the Joy of Learning and Exploration!

Lynn-Rose School Summer Camps in Mississauga offer two summer day camps for children aged 4-12 this summer: an academic program and a specialized soccer camp. These day camps take place at the Lynn-Rose School, a private International Baccalaureate World School in Mississauga with students in Pre-K (3-year-olds) to Grade 12, which has served the needs of its community since 1997. However, registration for Lynn-Rose School Summer Camps is open to everyone!

Each week during the summer, Lynn-Rose School Summer Camps fill the kids’ days with endless discovery and adventure. To keep the children engaged and excited about learning, the programming also includes a new theme of activities that are both educational and entertaining, plus plenty of fun in the sun! Then, to cap off the week on Fridays, the camps enjoy field trips to exciting venues around the GTA such as Reptila, Playtopia, Legoland, Ontario Science Centre, Downey’s Farm, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada and more.

Lynn-Rose Adventure Quest “Reach Ahead” Academic Learning Camp (Ages 4-12)

Lynn-Rose School Summer Camps’ Adventure Quest “Reach Ahead” Academic Learning Camp provides active, hands-on learning experiences that extend beyond the traditional classroom setting. Campers engage with the Ontario Math and Language curriculum in activities that not only motivate them but also help them explore new concepts and apply what they’ve learned. Through the camps’ weekly themes, the program helps build the students’ confidence through play-based learning activities that are grade-appropriate, interactive, and, most importantly, fun! Specialty Soccer Camp (Ages 4-12)

For sports enthusiasts, Lynn-Rose School Summer Camps’ Specialty Soccer Camp is the perfect opportunity for them to improve their soccer skills and focus on “the beautiful game”! For the first half of the day, participants work on their core developmental skills to enhance their current skill level, such as footwork, ball handling, strength and conditioning. Then, in the afternoons and on Fridays, they join the Reach Ahead campers for a variety of activities and trips, providing a well-rounded summer experience. Learn more

Lynn-Rose School Summer Camps — Weekly Themes

June 26-30: Summer Sizzle — Kids spend the first week of the summer with a cool, sunny summer vibe with limbo contests, tiki tosses, and more!
July 3-7: MVP Sports — Campers team up to explore a variety of sports as they run, jump, throw and catch their way through this week.
July 10-14: Secret Agent — The camp participants are challenged to solve a mystery on a secret mission with only one week to do it!
July 17-21: Lights, Camera, Action! — Kids become movie stars, create their own Hollywood star and showcase their talent at the Camp Wide Talent Show Extravaganza!
July 24-28: Wild, Wild, West — Giddy up for a wild week of cowgirl and cowboy adventures! Campers find out how the west was won through characters, challenges and teamwork.
July 31-August 4: Storybooks & Fairytales — Look out for giants, wizards, and elves in the realm of mythical creatures! Campers enjoy fairytales, dragon races, castle designing, wizard code cracking, and elf tag.
August 7-11: Around the Camp Fire — Kids learn survival tricks and tips and explore the life of camping full of outdoor games and (imitation) campfire stories.
August 14-18: Colour Splash — Campers bring their artistic visions to life to prove that anything is possible through imagination. Color groups also face off throughout the week in a variety of challenges and activities.
August 21-25: Into the Wild — Watch out, it’s a jungle out there! Kids grab their binoculars and pith helmets for a rawr-ing week of wild adventures.
