Rowntree Montessori Schools Summer Camp Provides Kids with Fun Beyond the Classroom

Rowntree Montessori Schools (RMS) Summer Camp, the Top Choice Private School of 2023 in Brampton, welcomes adventurous campers for a summer of growth and discovery! The educators at RMS believe that education should be a year-round journey of learning and exploration. Therefore, they keep the joy of learning alive during the summer months of July and August.

Summer of Learning at Rowntree Montessori Schools Summer Camp

Rowntree Montessori Schools Summer Camp is a unique and specially designed “Reach Ahead” Day Program that lets children ages 4-9 have fun beyond the classroom through hands-on learning experiences. Simultaneously, as the curriculum is aligned with the Ontario Math and Language standards, students continue their scholastic year to keep their academic skills fresh throughout the summer months.

The camp program ensures that each child has a summer filled with learning and adventure by combining academics with recreational activities. RMS’ experienced instructors make learning fun and exciting for the campers through interactive, hands-on and grade-appropriate games and crafts. Weekly Themes

Throughout the summer, campers can participate in educational and creative activities, such as exploring the galaxy, searching for answers through time and space, becoming one with nature and making their own artistic creations! If that wasn’t exciting enough, the camp goes on field trips to many of the top venues in the GTA each Friday.

July 3-7: Under the Stars — Campers explore the galaxy and then get cozy with marshmallows, s’mores, camp songs and more.
July 10-14: Master Chef — Kids become young chefs as they make snacks and craft a piece of art.
July 17-21: Down on the Farm — Participants learn about our animal friends and learn all about what makes the farm an adventure land.
July 24-28: Mini Olympics — Ready, set, go! Kids display their team spirit at Camp RMS through obstacles, relays and much more.
July 31-August 4: Under the Sea — Shhh! Campers must tread gently to learn the secrets of the sea.
August 7-11: Colour Splash — Kids can learn about art and its use of colour while bringing out their curious and creative side.
August 14-18: Dinosaurs Rawr — Campers grab shovels and gardening gloves to get their hands a little dirty as they unravel the history of time.
August 21-25: Safari Season — Kids make a list of their favourite animals and then track them down with their own crafted binoculars!

Rowntree Montessori School Summer Camp — Fees

Camp fees include all resources and activities the campers enjoy each week, plus a camp T-shirt!
Camp Fees: $300/per week
Early Bird Bundle Discount: $550/2 weeks (*Early bird deadline: April 15, 2023)
Additional Fees: Before Care (7:30am-9:00am): $25/week, Extended Care (4:00pm-6:00pm): $25/week, Before & Extended Care package: $40/week
