Casa Loma: Legends of Horror
When: October 3 (Family Hours start October 18) — November 2, 2024
Spooks and surprises await as Casa Loma presents its annual Halloween installation, Legends of Horror, a self-guided tour of the historic building. Families can spend the early hours with younger children at Family Hours, which are less scary and without live actors.

City of Toronto History Museums: Halloween Events

City of Toronto’s History Museums are hosting family-friendly Halloween events again this year, including crafts, musical performances, historical tours and ghost stories!

Fort York After Dark: Lantern Tour

Go back in time this Halloween at Fort York National Historic Site for their After Dark lantern tour, with this year’s theme of Lurking in the Shadows, to hear chilling and eerie tales of the historic buildings and surrounding grounds.

Riverdale Farm: Boo at the Barn

Riverdale Farm offers a free weekend of fun with pumpkin carving, crafts, face painting and exploring the spooky “Boo Barn”.

Black Creek Pioneer Village: Halloween at the Village

For a classic take on Halloween festivities, Black Creek Pioneer Village hosts some hair-raising happenings at their Halloween at the Village event, including trick-or-treating among the village’s beautiful heritage buildings.

Toronto’s First Post Office: Happy Halloween Kids Social

Bring your ghosts and ghouls in-training to Toronto’s First Post Office to make a fun pumpkin paper craft at the Happy Halloween Kids Social, and also watch screening of Halloween classic “Its the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”.

Toronto Zoo Halloween: Boo at the Zoo

Go wild at the Toronto Zoo for Halloween with “Boo at the Zoo”, featuring half-off admission for kids 12 & under that are in costume and accompanied by an adult paying regular admission. Wander through a mesmerizing pumpkin patch, and find superhero character shows, cryptic surprises and spooky photo opportunities.

Ontario’s Legislative Building: Halloween Family Fun Program

Introduce your kids to Ontario’s Parliament this Halloween at a free, interactive two-hour interactive program and tour at the historic Legislative Building. Participate in a parliamentary scavenger hunt, take part in a mock debate, and dress up in a traditional robe.

Aga Khan Museum: Aga Khan Park Fall Fair

Aga Khan Museum hosts a Fall Fair with face painting, photo station, performances, arts and crafts, and costume and pumpkin-carving contests.

Trick or Treat at the Bata Shoe Museum
