June Events

June is a busy month in Toronto: the weather starts to get hot so that means it’s time to hit splash pads, pools and cottages! Outdoor events begin to rev up too, such as the block parties and food festivals that begin to take over the downtown streets. So, join the party with our June Event Guide for Toronto and the GTA!

June Event Guide — Starting in June

American Crown Circus & Circo Osorio (Starts June 1)
“See the Fun, Be the Fun” with the American Crown Circus & Circo Osorio, spreading its latin flair to shows in seven locations around Ontario, performed by circus acts from around the world.

Casa Loma: Symphony in the Gardens (Starting June 5)
Enjoy music under the stars on Monday evenings this summer at Casa Loma, hosting Symphony in the Gardens in the spectacular Glass Pavilion.

Luminato Festival (June 7-18)
This cross-platform arts festival is back with a packed event schedule, including visual art, music, theatre and dance performances across the city.

Do West Fest (June 9-11)
Do West Fest is a free street festival of music, arts, food, fun, and community, covering 16 blocks along Dundas Street West.

Canadian Children’s Opera Company: “The Nightingale of a Thousand Songs” (June 9-11)
The CCOC presents its annual main stage production, “The Nightingale of a Thousand Songs”, based on a beloved Armenian folk tale.

National Ballet’s “Romeo and Juliet” (June 15-25)
The National Ballet of Canada presents “Romeo and Juliet”, a stunning adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy by choreographer Alexei Ratmansky.

Taste of Little Italy (June 16-18)
Taste of Little Italy transforms College Street into a bustling free street festival, with live music, bustling patios, multicultural vendors, amazing food and carnival rides.

Royal Canadian International Circus (Starts June 29)
RCIC returns with its spectacular family show and an exhilarating experience your family will never forget. This year, they perform across the GTA throughout the summer months, starting in Etobicoke.

Aga Khan Museum: Rhythms of Canada Festival (Starts June 30)
Rhythms of Canada Festival celebrates our diverse tapestry at the Aga Khan Museum and the Ismaili Centre, showcasing local arts and culture with activities for all ages.

Cirque du Soleil’s “KOOZA”
Cirque du Soleil brings the proudly Canadian circus troupe back to Toronto this spring with “KOOZA”, viewed through the perspective of an endearing yet naïve clown simply named The Innocent.

Planet Fitness High School Summer Pass
Registration has opened for teens aged 14-19 to get FREE passes from Planet Fitness. Once signed up, they can work out at their nearest location all through the summer.
