The Toronto Public Library branches are open and ready to entertain and teach families throughout the summer. Kids can join a reading club and hang out at a local branch. Plus, little ones can learn to read and teens find books and resources just for them.

Toronto Public Library Summer Programs:

TD Summer Reading Club
Help kids stay motivated with the TD Summer Reading Club — it’s free for all ages, as well as all interests and abilities. More than 2,200 public libraries across Canada participate in the program, but this year it is all online so that you can access it from wherever you are this summer!

Summer Wonder Programs
Find more information and register for free in-person and online workshops and shows, including Family Movie Nights, crafts like art, knitting and LEGO, and more.

Ready For Reading
This webpage intended for children aged 5 and under has book recommendations in all genres and reading levels, and links to YouTube programs.

Teens
Teenaged library patrons have a dedicated online hub with book recommendations, and links to online programs and workshops. Furthermore, teens can find sources for homework help and volunteering opportunities.
