Alberta first became a province on September 1, 1905 and the Alberta government has decided to mark the occasion with the newly declared Alberta Day to be celebrated every September 1! From September 1 to 3, everyone is invited to celebrate what makes Alberta special with special events happening throughout the province.

In Edmonton, the activities will take place at the Alberta Legislature Grounds. Check the full schedule to find everything from live entertainment and a made-in-Alberta marketplace to beer gardens and activities for kids. You won’t want to miss out on the fireworks and free concert with Brett Kissel on Saturday, September 3!
