South Rural Strathcona County will be bustling on Saturday, December 1, 2018 with the annual Christmas in the Country celebration! There will be Christmas markets set up at several locations, as well as other activities, like kids’ crafts, skating, music and more! (events vary by location – please see photo) From 4 pm to 6 pm visit the Fire Station in South Cooking Lake for the Light Up South Strathcona event, which includes entertainment, a visit from Santa and fireworks to kick off the season!
A Bus Tour is also offered for those who may wish to visit multiple locations. Tickets are $5 per person, or $10 per family, and must be purchased in advance at County Hall. (The bus tour will not visit the Light Up South Strathcona event.)
