Slide into Edmonton’s Newest Playground
- The new O-day’min (Warehouse) Park and playground is officially open downtown! Spanning 106 Street to 108 Street and Jasper Avenue to 102 Avenue, this vibrant downtown space launched with a grand opening on November 7. Enjoy a full week of celebrations through November 16, including live performances, circus workshops, and free treats! Check the full schedule here.
- Now is also a great time to get out and explore the new sensory playground addition at Jackie Parker Park. This vibrant space is intentionally designed with features like an inclusive whirl, communication board, and sensory, musical, and interactive elements! Find it at 4540 A 50 Street NW.
Roar into Jurassic World at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton
- Jurassic World by Brickman® is the current feature exhibit at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. Based off the blockbuster franchise from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, it features over 6 million LEGO® bricks in large-scale dinosaurs and props, scenes from the movies, and engaging hands-on activities.
Indulge Their Love of Animals
- The Edmonton Valley Zoo has an incredible Black Friday Sale running this November 1-23, 2025! Purchase your tickets at the gate to receive one FREE child admission with every adult/senior admission purchased. The weather still looks pretty favorable this weekend to get out and visit all your zoo favourites!
- Book a visit to play with the adoptable cats at Cheery Cat! Kids (12 and under) get in FREE on Thursdays at this posh feline-filled paradise.
Celebrate
- Celebrate Métis Week at the Stanley A. Milner Library with a series of special events hosted in the Métis Trappers Tent from November 12–20. Enjoy Michif language sessions, crafting activities, Discovery Club, and Story Stops led by Métis Child and Family Services Society and community Elders. Discover Planes and Trains
- Visit the Alberta Aviation Museum to see an amazing collection of vintage planes and memorabilia housed in the only double-long, double-wide hangar of its type left. For added fun, you can add on a Discovery Backpack filled with fun activities for the kids to do while they are in the museum.
- FREE | The Edmonton Train Collectors Association has an impressive motorized model train display set up inside Bonnie Doon Mall. Come watch the trains go around the loop and have fun discovering all the tiny details throughout.
Burn Off Some Energy
- Launchpad Trampoline Park is celebrating their 12th anniversary from November 10-14, 2025 with daily deals and free cake. They will also be open early at 10:00 am on November 12-14 because of the school break.
- The Strathcona County Sportzone is back at The Ardrossan Recreation Complex from November 10-16, 2025. Admission is included with your facility pass or daily admission fee, giving you access to inflatables, sports equipment, mini-sticks hockey, plasma cars, big building blocks, and much more!

Go On a FREE Scavenger Hunt
- FREE | IKEA Edmonton invites you an a fun in-store scavenger hunt with a sweet prize at the end – a FREE frozen yogurt cone from the Swedish Bistro! Grab a tiny pencil and hunt sheet from the display on the wall to the left of Småland, then have fun together making your way through the IKEA maze on the hunt for clues.
- FREE | Salisbury Greenhouse also has a monthly Scavenger Hunt for the kids! Grab the hunt sheet and search for the hidden images throughout the greenhouse to earn a FREE 2.5″ herb plant to bring home. The greenhouse is now decked out for Christmas, making it a fun stop for all.
