Sourcing out family entertainment is probably one of the last things on your mind or in your budget, so we are sharing local venues offering FREE admission. At the very least we hope it gives a place for the kids to burn off some energy and helps take everyone’s minds off things for a short period of time.
Province of Alberta Museum & Heritage Sites
Effective July 27, 2024 the Alberta government is offering free general admission for evacuees at all Alberta’s museum and heritage sites. Simply check in at the admissions desk with your government ID or postal code to obtain free entry. See the Facebook post here. Here are our favourite Museums in Edmonton and area:

Amazone Playzone

Art Gallery of Alberta
2 Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton | The Art Gallery of Alberta would like to welcome Albertan’s displaced by recent wildfires to enjoy a day of art at no cost. Simply inform guest services you are an evacuee to receive complimentary admission.
City of Fort Saskatchewan Recreation and Heritage Centres

Edmonton Riverhawks Baseball Games

Hide n Seek Indoor Playground & Cafe

Ortona Gymnastics Club – Open Gym Time

Winspear Centre – National Youth Orchestra Performance
