BIG NEWS Alberta! Charmed Resorts just announced a second location, less than 1 hour south of Edmonton at Mulhurst Bay. They will be expanding their storybook cottage offerings in 2024 with an all-new resort in the beautiful lakeside community at Pigeon Lake!
Charmed Playhouses was born in 2015 when owner Tyson Leavitt sold his landscaping business to focus on building luxurious custom playhouses and dog houses. The popularity of the first Rapunzel-inspired playhouse even landed the team on their own TV show, Playhouse Masters, which was featured on TLC for one season and included a playhouse build for NBA MVP Stephen Curry. Wishing to bring that same fairytale experience to more of their fans, the Leavitt family then established Charmed Resorts in 2021 and set to work creating a luxury camping resort outside Blairmore, AB for more families can stay, play, and experience the magic.
We have loved watching the Charmed Resorts flagship location in Crowsnest Pass come to life, with each carefully crafted cottage addition proving to be more fantastic and creative than the last. Current offerings include 14 fairytale-inspired cottages including everything from Rapunzel’s Cottage and (Mad) Hatter’s House, to Beast’s Castle and Tinkerbell’s Treehouse! Charmed Resorts Mulhurst Bay will be planned and built with Parcels at Mulhurst Bay. This new seasonal RV Park will offer private 1/4 acre recreational lots for campers looking for a more permanent home-away-from-home. The fairytale theming will carry through to the amenities and events that will be offered to both RV Park members and cottage guests.
