Embrace the cold and see stunning works of carved ice art at Edmonton’s annual Ice on Whyte festival! From January 27 to February 6, some of the best ice carving talent from across Canada will gather in Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park to create impressive sculptures carved from simple blocks of ice and snow. Come see the teams of artists at work, and discover which icy sculpture will take top prize in the competition!

Ice on Whyte is proud to be one of only three  ice carving competitions in Canada. Visitors are invited to come see the beauty of the ice sculptures and then try creating their very own carving at one of the Chipper ice carving lessons.
