Whyte Avenue and area will be turned into a winter wonderland for the annual Boardwalk Ice on Whyte Festival. The festival is a celebration of winter with music, dance, crafts, food, and other entertainment. Join the fun January 23 to February 2, 2020. (closed January 27)
Of course, the major attraction is the ice carving, including an international ice carving competition. Try your hand at ice carving (even the kids can do it!) and don’t miss the other family activities, including a kids’ play area, family skating, and much more. Check with the Ice on Whyte website for a full schedule of events. Tickets are available online or at the gate. Adults tickets are $7, Kids age 2 to 13 are $4, and under 2 are free. You can also purchase a family pack of 4 tickets (2 adults, 2 children) for $20.
