You are going to want to check out the IMPULSE+LOOP Light Up Playground that will be brightening the Quarters during Edmonton Design Week! The interactive display is art you can play on, featuring two exhibits. IMPULSE is an installation of 15 see-saws that are connected to LEDs and speakers. When you play on them, the see-saws light up and emit a sound sequence…you can literally play in sound and light!
LOOP is an installation of giant illuminated circles you can sit in. Visitors crank the handle inside like on an old fashioned railway hand cart to animate the panels in a story and play a song. LOOP is starting a round the world tour here in Edmonton before heading next to Switzerland!
