Just in time for the spring weather, the William Hawrelak Park reopening is set for March 13, 2026, with a Grand Opening Celebration on May 30, 2026! The park has undergone a major three-year rehabilitation and features new walking and biking paths, paved trails for all abilities, a stunning new playground, as well as a lakefront promenade, fire pits and picnic areas. The playground is inspired by nature, featuring chickadee and spruce tree play structures, epic slides, bridges, and more!
