Red Bull Stratos at Science WorldWhat makes a record-breaking, free-fall jump possible?

Science World is pleased to present an out-of-this-world exhibit running now until the end of April 2016. Red Bull Stratos at Science World centres on the science and technology that made Felix Baumgartner’s 39,000-metre, record-breaking free-fall jump possible.

Featuring the actual capsule and space suit Felix used, this exhibit dives into many topics including: engineering, innovation, space science, the science of motion, human physiology and the study of the human body in space under extreme conditions. The data collected from the Stratos project furthered the development of space agency protocols for exposure to high altitude and supersonic acceleration and deceleration.

Just check out this amazing leap! (I may have squealed out loud when he took the jump.)
