How to Score FREE Admission to KDays:
1. Support Local Businesses and Get FREE K‑Days Tickets
KDays has partnered with cafés, shops, restaurants, and more across Edmonton to showcase limited-edition Feature Products—and reward you for supporting local! Visit a participating business, try a special product, and receive FREE general admissions ticket to KDays (while supplies last). It’s a fun way to explore the city and earn your way to the fair!
2. Sign up for the FREE Summer Reading Fest at EPL!
Kids can take part in 8 weeks of reading challenges, contests, prizes, guest performances, events, and more. On top of all of the other great benefits this program offers, this year’s registration package includes 2 general admission tickets to KDays (while supplies last).
3. Share your creative talents in the KDays Competitive Exhibits Makers Exhibition!
Local makers, creators, artists, and producers of ALL AGES are invited to share their passions and hobbies through this showcase of Alberta’s talent. Your best-grown vegetable, tastiest baked treats, crafty creation or art project could be on display during K-days and earn you cash prizes! Entry is free, and all who enter will receive one free general admission tickets to KDays.
4. Plan to get there early for the KDays Premier’s Breakfast
Friday, July 18, 2025 | Guests will be granted free admission into KDays following the complimentary pancake breakfast! While supplies last, for the first 5000 guests.
5. Search those backpacks for free passes!
Friday, July 18, 2025 | For the last several years we have received passes that were distributed through the schools at the end of June. If your kids may have gone missing, I suggest making an “in search of” post on your local community or buy and sell page – I have seen many posts with people giving them away. These free passes were good only for opening day admission.
6. Take Advantage of Community Day
Sunday, July 20, 2025 | Score FREE admission to the KDays grounds by showing your Edmonton Public Library (EPL) card, TELUS World of Science – Edmonton (TWOSE) membership, City of Edmonton Recreation Centre pass, or Leisure Access Program card at the gate!
7. Ride with ETS on Transit Tuesday
Tuesday, July 22, 2025 | Get FREE general admission to KDays just by showing your Access and Resources for Community (ARC) card at the gates—it’s your ticket to a full day of fun at no cost!
8. Bring the Grandkids on Throwback Thursday
Thursday, July 24, 2025 | This one is for the grandparents! Seniors get FREE general admission by showing their ID at the gates before 6 PM.
9. Free Passes with your Fort Edmonton Park Visit
Starting June 27, visit Fort Edmonton Park and you will receive FREE general admission passes for KDays.
