Edmonton Public Library is gearing up for another exciting summer of reading fun with the Summer Reading Fest at EPL from June 27 to August 22, 2026! Partnered with the TD Summer Reading Club, kids can join in 8 weeks of reading challenges, contests, prizes, guest performances, events and more.

The official kick-off for the summer will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at all EPL branches! Visit your favourite location for an afternoon of old-fashioned fun and excitement.
Visit your local branch or check the online schedule to discover all the exciting reading-inspired classes & events happening throughout the summer. There is everything from dance parties and pirates to teddy bear picnics, LEGO, and MORE! The EPL is also excited to welcome some very special performers throughout the summer, like magicians and puppet shows.
