The Alberta Teachers’ Strike is in full swing, and in the meantime, your kids might need a place to go! We’re gathering a few options for last-minute day camps while the teachers are on strike. You can also find Free and Inexpensive Fun During the Teachers’ Strike here.
If you haven’t already, be sure to register here for parent support from the Alberta government. If you have a child aged 12 and under who attends a public, separate, or francophone school affected by the disruption, you are eligible to receive $30 per child per school day of the labour action.
Fort Edmonton Park
Fort Edmonton Park is offering pop-up day camps for kids ages 6 – 12 who are affected by the school closures. It’s fun, hands-on history for the kids and peace of mind for the parents, with reliable, engaging out-of-school care. Is your young time traveller ready?!
