Spark your child’s creativity and fuel their love of art this summer with ArtBreak Camps at the Art Gallery of Alberta! Your 6 to 17-year-old can spend a full week this July or August enjoying art activities, imaginative exercises, and a variety of exciting creative projects and excursions.

Art – it’s something kids naturally love! The freedom to experiment, the excitement of exploration, and the pride in a finished product. Each AGA ArtBreak Camp empowers aspiring artists to take the lead in the creative process and discover the world around them through their own artistic lens. Focused on student interactions and personal experiences, these camps seek to build a connection between art, ideas, and community.

ArtBreak Camps at the Art Gallery of Alberta include a range of fun and inspiring themes from nature, history, and design, to science and comics. Each week of artful adventures will offer viewing of the current exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Alberta, experimentation in the studio, and exploration of the art, neighbourhoods, and green spaces around the gallery. You never know where you might find inspiration, so many of the camps also include excursions and artmaking at local attractions!
