Stardust: The Universe in You at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton

This thrilling galactic experience is inspired by Carol Gamble’s beloved children’s book Stardust and You and will debut in the Feature Gallery on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Bring your family on an out-of-this-world adventure! From the birth of the universe to the building blocks of your very own body, you can touch, play, and wonder your way across space and time with interactive discoveries, glowing displays, and mind-blowing science.

Explore the cosmic connections between the universe and the human body through five captivating sections:

The Story Begins – Witness the birth of the universe and see galaxies come to life in real-time projections
From Atoms to Stars – Engage in hands-on activities like sculpting star formations and navigating a 3D star field
Building Galaxies – Create your own swirling galaxy and explore our solar system through interactive displays
Supernovas: Exploding Elements – Learn about the origins of elements and experience a supernova explosion beneath your feet
Earth and You: Made of Stardust – Discover how stardust came to be part of our bodies through stunning visuals and interactive activities

Be among the first to experience this brand new exhibition by Flying Fish, in collaboration with Spark Initiatives and supported by Cosmopshere and TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. It’s science with a side of magic, and it’s perfect for curious kids, stargazing grown-ups, and everyone in between! Opening day celebrations will take place on Saturday, May 31 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM with face painting, tattoos, photos with an astronaut mascot, prizes, and a book signing with Stardust and You author Carol Gamble. You can even purchase your own copy of the the book right at The Galaxy Gift Shop!
