Everyone is invited to join the celebration of Ukrainian culture, food, music, visual arts, crafts and dance during the UFest Edmonton Ukrainian Festival. This free two-day event welcomes people from all cultures and backgrounds to embrace and honour Ukrainian culture and heritage through musical and dance performances, beer gardens, Ukrainian food vendors, arts, crafts and merchandise vendors, displays, buskers, family-friendly activities, workshops, and much more.

Bring the whole family to Borden Park on May 30 & 31 for all the fun! Admission to UFest is FREE, including kids crafts, a petting zoo, workshops, and other family-friendly activities. It is a fun, vibrant, and culturally rich event that has grown to be one of Edmonton’s favourite annual Spring festivals!

From high-energy Ukrainian dance performances to lively folk music that will have your toes tapping, UFest is packed with entertainment for all ages. Bring a comfy lawn chair to enjoy the continuous entertainment on the live stage, and a hearty appetite to sample the delicious cuisine (for purchase). Your taste buds are in for a treat with everything from homemade perogies, cabbage rolls, sausage, and borscht, to sweet treats like honey cake and pampushky!

Each year, UFest is also proud to invite another guest culture to share the spotlight. This year’s guest culture will be Italy, with special performers Andrea Pinna Tenor and Maestro Emilio Demercato, and the Italian Appennini Dancers of Edmonton Society. They will join an exciting line-up of Ukrainian dance troupes, polka bands, and ensemble choirs.

And the party doesn’t stop there! There’s a beer garden for the 18+ crowd, featuring a custom “Budmo Brew” craft beer by SYC Brewing. Grab a cold one at the UFest After Dark party on Friday and Saturday night. Live Ukrainian bands will keep the fun going from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM!
