Canada’s largest Halloween festival, Pumpkins After Dark, will return to Edmonton’s Borden Park this September and October for another spooktacular season! With all new pumpkin displays and more roaming entertainment, it is a must-see event for ghosts and ghouls of all ages.

Pumpkins After Dark Archway

This one-of-a-kind celebration of all things Halloween features over 10,000+ hand carved pumpkins arranged in stunning sculpture displays along a magical pathway. It is an outdoor, walk-through exhibit that includes specially curated lighting, music, sounds and special effects to help bring each gourd-filled work of art to life. Expect to see classic Halloween characters, dragons, dinosaurs, movie and pop culture icons and more, all proudly carved by Canadian Artists!

Pumpkins After Dark Frankenstein

This family-friendly venue will have something to surprise and delight visitors both young and old. Beyond the sculptures, the event also features live pumpkin carving demonstrations, interactive roaming Halloween characters, Instagram-worthy photo ops, and food trucks serving fall treats & sweets. Plus don’t forget to pick out and buy your own pumpkin on the way out to carve your own spectacular Jack-O-Lantern at home!

All tickets for Pumpkins After Dark are timed and must be purchased in advance through the website. It is expected to be quite popular so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. The event will run run Thursday through Sunday from September 22 through to October 31, 2023, giving you plenty of opportunities to enjoy this exciting Fall tradition with your family!
