Friday nights are terrific family nights. But sometimes, it’s even better to send the kids off for some fun on their own! On Friday nights, beginning September 5, 2025, the kids will enjoy a creative Friday night out at the drop-off Clay & Cupcakes Pizza Paint Party. That means you get a little time to yourself, too! Everyone needs a night off once in a while, and it’s the perfect way to kick off the weekend and celebrate the start of a new school year!
Clay & Cupcakes is Edmonton’s ‘sweet place to paint pottery’, helping you create lasting mementos through painted clay projects, glass fusion, and canvas painting. The most popular option is to pick a piece of pottery and design, create, and paint it. Each piece is then carefully fired and glazed by the experts, and is ready for pick up several days later. With camps, parties, and ‘just-because’ nights, it’s a popular spot to enjoy time together with family or friends.
Clay & Cupcakes Pizza Paint Party
This fall, plan on a Clay & Cupcakes Pizza Paint Party to add something special to the back-to-school routine! Every Friday night, from 6 – 7:30 PM, kids ages 6 – 12 can enjoy the end of the school week and let loose making a masterpiece. Kids will create a new painted pottery, canvas, or glass fusion project each week. Projects are often themed to the nearest holiday season. To help feed their creativity, pizza and a juice box will be served shortly after they arrive, and the evening will be topped off with a mini cupcake treat for each painter!
The cost is $39 for each child, or $69 for sibling or friend pairs. Register for one week or register every week. And then you get to enjoy some time off, too!
