The Festival Players for Kids Present: Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs

Festival players for kids present

What can bring young and old together? A wonderful story and an even better fairy tale can draw many a person near no matter the age. Add in such wonderful elements as a magic mirror, a poisoned apple, an Evil Queen and seven lovable and endearing  characters and you’ve got a hit! Did you know that the seven dwarfs were first given individual names in the 1912 Broadway play Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and they were given different names in Walt Disney’s 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? Whatever the name of the Dwarfs we all will recognize the innocent and fair maiden, Snow White, and root for her and Prince Charming to live happily every after.

For the 13th year in a row, the Festival Players for Kids are bringing a fun and fantastic musical theatre performance to the stage at Festival Place! This talented group of local children, lead by a team of industry professionals, is pleased to present Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, from March 5 to 8, 2020 at Festival Place in Sherwood Park. This year’s production is sponsored in part by Inter Pipeline.

You will be on the edge of your seat thanks to colourful music and dance as you watch the Brothers Grimm fairy tale brought to life and hear the iconic chant “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all”.
