Experience an outdoor movie experience like never before!
Throughout the summer, ICE District Plaza is offering an Immersive Cinema Experience! Your family will be transported to the realm of the movie being shown that day with interactive elements such as themed decor, movie character appearances, face painting, balloon animals, and specialty food and drink. It is almost as if you are IN the movie! Enhance your experience by dressing as movie characters, or bringing your favourite stuffies to fully embrace the theme. This is a great event for families or groups of friends and it is completely FREE! It is the perfect opportunity to get out and have a bit of fun with family or friends while watching popular cult classic movies.
No ticket is required for entry, and the movie will be presented with closed captions. In order to make your movie experience great, here are a few tips:
- Bring a chair or blanket to sit on
- Food, beverage, and popcorn will be available for purchase on-site
- Paid parking is available
- It is also accessible by transit, so you can save parking fees and purchase more snacks!

The Immersive Cinema Experience series is presented as part of the Summer SolstICE Event Series at ICE District Plaza. This vibrant hub for events will be packed all summer with family-friendly concerts, sporting events, and outdoor events and experiences. ICE District Plaza offers the perfect location for families and friends to head to the Downtown hub and socialize.
