On Saturday, March 5, Edmonton Public Library invites dads and their daughters to join in for a special Natural Hair Care workshop via Zoom. It will be a morning of bonding time and learning as participants discover tools to create multiple hair styles, including:
- Braids
- Updos
- Puffs/poofs
- Buns
- Cornrows
Natural Hair Care 101: Daddy, Daughter and Braids will be hosted by Edmonton Natural Hair Show founder Osas Eweka-Smith. A body positive advocate, and mother herself, Osas is proud to help people of all ages embrace the beauty of their Afro-textured natural hair.
Registration is required for this event. Prior to the class, all registered participants will receive the Zoom link.
