Knock! Knock! That’s the sound of your child breaking out of their shell this fall with improv lessons from Rapid Fire Theatre!

Add an extra dose of laughter to Saturday mornings with Kidding Around Workshops. These exciting 8-week sessions allow children ages 6 to 12 to work with the comedic experts at Rapid Fire to unlock their spontaneous, creative potential. Each class will be a humor-filled hour and a half where children can learn to move their bodies and express their ideas with fun improv games and interactive exercises.

No prior improv or theatre experience is necessary to join! Rapid Fire Theatre is proud to offer a welcoming and inclusive space where children can freely express themselves and boost their self-confidence.

Kidding Around Workshops

Unlock imagination, embrace positivity, and get ready to perform! These dynamic 8-week workshops will take place on Saturday mornings before the popular family-friendly Kidding Around Show. Classes will be broken into two age groups and run simultaneously, making it perfect for siblings to enroll together!

Youngers (Ages 6-9)
The youngest improvisers will learn the tricks of the trades through play! Non-stop games and interactive activity are the perfect way for youngers to develop skills like body control, focus, and collaboration.

Olders (Ages 10-12)
Olders will learn to bring their imaginations as they explore the art of of spontaneous storytelling! New skills like saying “yes and”, trusting their impulses, and turning failure into gold will help build confidence and up their comedic game.

Fall registration is now open through the Rapid Fire Theatre website. It will be fun for everyone as your favourite star learns to shine on the Rapid Fire Exchange stage!

You can also get a taste of how fun improv can be with Rapid Fire by attending a Kidding Around Show. It is never the same show twice with the performers creating the entire show from the top of their heads, along with a few suggestions from the audience! Catch these family-friendly performances every Saturday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
