3. Dinosaur Exploration at the Museum of Natural History

Visit the Museum of Natural History this weekend and travel back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Imagine standing next to a full-size skeleton of a dinosaur, towering above you! Take the family and check it out.

4. Michaels Crafting

Head to a Michaels Store this Saturday morning for Kids’ Club! It’s an opportunity for the kids to do a little crafting and it’s free. The kids will be making Friendship Bracelets.

5. Cineplex Family Favourites

Cineplex knows how expensive it can be to take the whole family out to the movies. That’s why they created Cineplex Family Favourites: your favourite kids’ movies, for only $3.99*, every Saturday at 11 am. This week they’re playing Peter Rabbit.

6. Family Fair Day

Celebrate spring in a Spanish style, with Family Fair Day on Saturday at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.

Saturday is Independent Bookstore Day, so celebrate by checking out a fantastic local bookstore!

The Family Literacy and Heritage Fest is Saturday at the Halifax Central Library and is filled with fun family activities.
