Halifax Busker Festival | July 29 – August 3 | FREE to Attend
📍Halifax and Dartmouth Waterfront
Electrifying performers will take to multiple stages during this festival for incredible international and local performances. A full schedule of events will be available on their website. It’s free to attend, but you’re encouraged to tip the performers.
East Coast Amusements | July 30 – August 2
📍 Main Street, Dartmouth
The midway is coming back to the city! A change from last year’s schedule, it will be on Main Street, Dartmouth over the long weekend.
Natal Day Events | August 1-3 | FREE
📍 Various locations around HRM
Whichever side of the harbour you live on, there are plenty of events to celebrate Natal Day. Check out our guide for great music and entertainment all weekend long!
Family Fun Days on Georges Island | July 31 | FREE Admission
📍 Georges Island, Halifax Harbour
Fridays are for FUN! Visit Georges Island on Fridays throughout the summer, with bonus activities from 10 AM – 3 PM. Plus, with the Canada Strong Pass, admission to Georges Island is free! Ferry transportation rates still apply
Halifax Wanderers FC vs. Forge | August 2
📍 Wanderers Grounds, Halifax
In soccer action, the Halifax Wanderers will be taking on Forge on Sunday at 7:00 PM.
Eastern Passage – Cow Bay Summer Festival | August 2-9 | FREE Activities
📍 Various locations around Eastern Passage – Cow Bay
The Annual Eastern Passage-Cow Bay Summer Carnival will have tons of family-friendly events, including the Teddy Bear Picnic, Sand Castle Contest, Scavenger Hunt, Parade, Fireworks, and much more!
Halifax Tides FC vs. Ottawa | August 3
📍 Wanderers Grounds, Halifax
The women’s team, the Halifax Tides, will be on the field vs. Ottawa on Monday at 3:00 PM.
